Chair Mechanisms Explained:

PCB – The seat is fixed but the back angle can be adjusted and locked in the required position.

Syncro – this is where the seat and back are synchronised to move together, so the angle between the seat and the back is always the same, this can be left to ‘free-float’ or locked at a specific angle.

Tilt – Adjustment of Seat and Back angles are independent
