Georg Thams was a highly influential designer, known for his minimalist, functional style. His creations are characterized by elegant simplicity and great attention to detail. He was German born in 1935 in Flensburg and died in 2016 in Tønder, Denmark. He studied at the Flensburg School of Applied Arts and began his career working as a carpenter before turning to industrial design

A very desirable Danish mid-century brown leather 3 seater sofa on mahogany frame.
Made in Denmark by Grant Mobelfabrik, this is a beautiful vintage Danish classic 3 person sofa upholstered in Brown leather, with removable cushions on the seat and back and sides, featuring a beautiful mahogany wood frame. The leather has recently been cleaned and treated with leather conditioner.
Ultra-comfortable and in great vintage condition with lovely patina.

Size – 213 wide x 76 deep x 71 high cm – seat height 44 cm.

Condition – very good used condition with lovely patina.
